The luggage with which Nevaeh Bowles will return to the Bahamas will be filled not only with experience and memories but also with stones and crystals collected on the beach in Genoa. “I really like them”, she says, “I like many things about Genoa. The city is very beautiful, the people, the food is amazing, I love cheese. And the weather is perfect, we are enjoying the experience”.

And while it’s too early to think about the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics because “first there’s college, then we’ll see”, the present is the Coastal Rowing World Championship.

“I’ve never raced on calm water, but I really like Coastal”, Bowles explains. “There’s a lot of adrenaline, I usually act as a boat handler, but this time I raced, and it’s really nice. Even though we were eliminated, I had fun”.
