The 2024 World Rowing Coastal Championships will be held 6 to 8 September in Genoa, Italy.
Boats of solos, doubles (including mixed doubles), and coxed quads will race 4km or 6km around a course of buoys, chicanes and turning points in the open sea, providing some exhilarating racing!
The 2024 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals will be held 13 to 15 September in Genoa, Italy.
The event takes place in a beach setting with with head-to-head racing in solos, doubles, mixed doubles, and mixed coxed quads, and inclusion Coastal Mixed Double Sculls.

THE CITY
Genoa is the ideal venue for sporting events.
In June 2023, it was the first city in Italy to host the final stage of The Ocean Race.
For 2024, Genoa has been designated the European Capital of Sport.
THE VENUE
Getting to Genoa is easy: the city airport Cristoforo Colombo is located in Sestri Ponente and it is connected to the city centre by bus.
The maritime stations connect Genoa to the main ports of the Mediterranean Sea. The railway lines are the most comfortable and effective.
There are also four highways that allow you to reach Genoa by car: A12, A10, A26 and A7.
